Where all your “P” quarters come from
I have no idea why people feel the need to throw change at Ben and Deb
Betsy’s place
There were a number of these relief maps of historical Philly so the blind know what they are missing
The old tavern where the founding fathers tried to think up ways of explaining the “all men are created equal” thing to the founding mothers
The Liberty Bell
America’s historical crack
Independence Hall
A statue of George Washington in front of Independence Hall. The two plaques on the ground signify where Lincoln stood when he raised the flag at the Hall and where Kennedy stood when he gave his Independence of Nations address
The old courtroom on one side of the Hall where the original Supreme Court met. The metal cage in the center was where the defendant literally ’stood’ trial
The congress room on the other side of the hall where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution was debated and signed. The big chair at the head of the room is the same chair that Jefferson sat inикони
